Alright, Twisted Grit fam – the holiday season is creeping up, and we all know it’s a potent mix of magic and madness! We’re here to assist you with some TGY self-care sanity. Our mission: help you roll through the new year with your feet on the ground, your head clear, and your spirit strong.
Let’s face it: this time of year can feel like a Midwest snowstorm.
You know it’s coming, and you can’t stop it, but you can be ready. Scott, our resident Marine, would agree: being prepared is the key to tackling anything. So, just like we toss salt and sand down on icy roads to keep our tires grounded and ready our winter gear for frigid temps and piles of snow, we’ve got some go-to ways to help you prepare mentally and physically for all the season throws at you. Think of yoga, breathwork, and bodywork as your personal “salt and sand” – tools to help you feel safe and steady, no matter how hectic things get.
The next couple months bring everything from family drama to financial and emotional pressures and it’s easy to feel scattered. Get through it by anchoring yourself in the good stuff! Be prepared by making your plan to engage regularly in positive practices that keep you calm and present.
