 Yin Yoga: Deep stretching, relaxation, and healing through slow-paced, seated/lying poses, deep breathing, and long holds.  It targets fascia and muscles, increasing flexibility, mindfulness, range of motion, and healing injuries and the mind. Props and essential oils enhance relaxation and balance. (85-95 degrees)

A Twisted Grit favorite! Build strength, relieve pain, improve posture, and ground your body through slow, mindful movements. Core Flow focuses on strengthening shapes that stretch, relax, and build core muscles. All levels are welcome. 95 degrees.

This Flow class welcomes all levels to practice at their own pace—from challenging poses to grounding modifications.  We breathe, move, find stillness, and practice mindfulness through balance, stabilization, core work, and meditation. Come as you are. (95 degrees)

Join us for a 45-minute class designed for everyone in our busy community. Yeah, even if you HATE heat, we have heard it many times before. At least stick your toe in and try it! 

This class may include weight training, cardio, yoga, and core exercises, all while ensuring fitness, fun, and wellness for participants of all levels. It’s a great way to fit a workout into your day and get back to your activities. 

The pace will be fast, but don’t feel pressured to keep up—tailor the experience to your needs. Weights are optional, and you are welcome to wear shoes during the class. This is the perfect TGY class for everyone! This one will be HOT!

We will use different healing modalities to get into the hips to help give you some more space and maybe some pain relief + peace. A great class to attend if you don't have a full hour for a yoga class. Unlock those hips!

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga for deep stretching, relaxing, and healing. Most poses are seated or lying down, incorporating deep breathing techniques and long holds. Yin will focus on stretching the fascia and muscles, increasing flexibility, mindfulness, increasing range of motion, healing injuries, and healing the mind. Yoga props are used to support the body, and essential oils are added to the class to aid in relaxation and balance - pure bliss. There will also be sound mixed in with the class. This is a 75-minute class.

Yin classes are usually between 80 and 90 degrees.

Yin yoga is open to all levels. There will be very little movement, and/or standing.  Please inquire with the instructor or send us a message before class to let us know of any restrictions or questions you may have at info@twistedgrityoga.com

This is a Twisted Grit favorite! We’ll build strength through mindful movements in an effort to relieve pain, improve posture, build confidence, and ground your body. During Core, we’ll focus on making shapes that increase our core strength while encouraging the muscles to stretch, strengthen, relax, and build. This class is accessible to everyone and all levels.

Power is a class that features a vigorous and more fitness-based practice. You don’t need to keep up or do all the shapes, and can modify poses to suit what you need in the moment. This class combines dynamic breathing and strong flowing movement to make you sweat. Accessible for anyone willing to listen to their body, this class allows you to cultivate outer power and teaches you how to build and nurture your inner power, along with physical strength and increased flexibility. (95 degrees)

We’ve put a Twisted Grit spin on traditional HOT yoga. Join us for 105 degrees of healing!  This class is open to all levels, and you’re always welcome to take as many breaks as you need. Twisted Heat features lots of holds and shorter flows, similar to a HIIT class, with bursts of hard work followed by a reflective pause. Classes will be HOT, so please be prepared to come hydrated and feeling well. (105 degrees)

Align + Strength

We will focus on lifting heavier weights slowly and mindfully to build strength, stability, balance and mobility. There is no jumping or high-intensity movements. We keep our feet on the ground, oxygen in our lungs, and killer tunes in our ears!  You don't even have to pick up a weight if you don't feel like it! We will work on breathing, large muscle groups, mixed with some yoga and weightlifting. Mindfulness and self-care are always a focus at TGY. Open for men and women, young and seasoned. Come get a little bit stronger!

 Build strength with intention. Align + Sculpt focuses on posture, stability, and high-rep toning using light weights and precise movement. Smart, effective, and surprisingly challenging—this is a strength that supports you for the long run. We will use tools like the wall, resistance bands, and balls. Made for all levels and ages. We all need to work on posture, joints, strength, and balance. Who knows, we might even work on inversions, you never know at TGY! Come try!

 Sound Bath Bliss is everything you need to reset, relax, let go, or even nap in the snugly warm studio. TGY Bliss will include many different meditation and somatic modalities that will help to get deep into where stretches won't go using frequencies, aroma, breath, and meditation. This is an excellent class for a beginner. Some minor movements may be included.
